Professional

Calling oneself a professional doesn't really make one a professional. As a Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative, professionalism is defined not only by the measure of one's experience, education and accreditation, but by one's character and professional standard of practice in supporting clients as a trusted financial expert.

Through personal commitment, professional associations, accreditations and continuing education, I have worked hard to establish a reputation as a respected professional and to gain the trust of clients. Please take a moment to review my experiences and accomplishments.

Curtis has since earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations and Certified Financial Planner (CFP® ) designations.

CLU® Chartered Life Underwriter

The CLU designation is the undisputed professional credential for persons involved in the protection, accumulation, preservation and distribution of the economic values of human life. For Financial Representatives such as Curtis Estes, as well as field managers and others involved in providing life insurance products to the public, the CLU designation is the common bond for continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.

ChFC® Chartered Financial Consultant

The ChFC program focuses on the organized way to collect and analyze information on a client's financial situation; to help clients identify and establish specific financial goals and to formulate solutions to help meet those goals. The ChFC program provides financial professionals with in-depth knowledge of the skills needed to perform needs analysis for their clients.

CFP® Certified Financial Planner

The CFP®) certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world.   CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.
